Space Is In Fashion: Vans/NASA Collab

The brand that would become Vans started in California in 1966, making direct-to-consumer deck shoes. A few years later, skateboarders appreciated Vans shoes for the sticky, sea-worthy soles to help them effectively shred the gnar.

A wardrobe staple in many subcultures, Vans are now validating our inner space geek with a smoking hot NASA collaboration, rumored to hit stores in Fall, 2018.

The shoes feature a whisper of the familiar Old Skool stripe, while the overall design is reminiscent of a Space Shuttle Orbiter.

The collection will include adult, kid, and toddler sizes, and there are high tops and low top styles.

There is even a slip-on style featuring a starry, inter-galactic print.

After sneaking a peek at the look book, we have no shame in admitting that we want one of each!
